A Wisconsin-based chain of pizzerias is expanding to the Twin Ports.
Toppers Pizza, which sets itself apart with late hours and “fresh, handmade and customizable pizza baked in about 360 seconds,” has about 80 locations in 14 states.
“We’ve expanded pretty rapidly throughout the state - about 17 stores in Minnesota now,” Director of Franchise Development Mark Cairns told the News Tribune.
While there are no locations or opening dates set in stone just yet, Toppers would like two locations in Duluth or one each in Duluth and Superior, Cairns said.
