DULUTH — The much-anticipated Crumbl Cookies is opening the doors to its Duluth location Thursday, a store representative confirmed in an email. Crumbl's grand opening will be Friday from 8 a.m. to midnight at 917 W. Central Entrance.

Beginning March 30, Crumbl Cookies will offer takeout, curbside pickup and delivery options. The bakery chain sells warm gourmet cookies, with 150 flavor options that rotate weekly. Ice cream pairings are also available. Regular store hours are not yet listed for the Duluth location.

Benders Shoes has opened in its new, larger Duluth location. The shoe store is now located at 901 W. Central Entrance and has expanded its merchandise offerings.

In addition to its men's and women's footwear product offerings, Benders now sells children's footwear, clothing for men, women and a selection of children's clothing, and a wide selection of gifts.

Now located in the former Pier 1 Imports building, Benders Shoes opened its Duluth location on Maple Grove Road in 2013. Benders also has stores in Grand Rapids and Hibbing.

Goat Hill Marketplace opens in Enger Lofts

The Goat Hill Marketplace opened last week in the Enger Lofts building in Duluth's Lincoln Park neighborhood. Owned by Tom Hanson, of Duluth Grill, OMC Smokehouse and Corktown Deli & Brews, the retail store offers kitchen supplies and essentials.

The store's merchandise includes gourmet and everyday food items including meats and cheeses, nonperishables, spices and refrigerated items. Goat Hill Marketplace also sells pots and pans, tableware and other kitchen accessories, plus some art and everyday essentials. It's open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 1832 W. Superior St.

The London Road Car Wash & Lube Center's last day in business will be April 30, a manager confirmed. The car wash at 1530 London Road in Duluth is closing due to increased competition and property taxes. The manager also noted building structure concerns.

Through April 30, the shore hours are 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays. The wash and lube center's hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.

The London Road Car Wash's sister business on Maple Grove Road, the Miller Mall Car Wash, will remain open.
