Social media event set for May 30 in Duluth

The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and online marketing agency aimClear have teamed up to host the second Zenith Social Media Conference in downtown Duluth on May 30.

The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and online marketing agency aimClear have teamed up to host the second Zenith Social Media Conference in downtown Duluth on May 30.

The conference is designed to help small businesses use social media networks to market their brands and grow their businesses. It will offer a full day of sessions by national and local social media experts. They'll present strategies, tactics and tools to master social media and increase social market share.

The sessions are offered at various experience levels.

"Whether you're a small business looking to launch your social presence or an experienced marketer in need of bleeding-edge SEO tactics, (the) conference offers educational tracks that appeal to marketers of all experience levels," said Marty Weintraub, CEO of Duluth-based aimClear, who is among the presenters.

Last year's conference drew more than 200 people.

This year's conference will be held from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p. m. May 30 in the ballroom of Greysolon Plaza, 231 E. Superior St. Cost is $249 for chamber members, $299 for nonmembers and $99 for students. Proceeds benefit the chamber's outreach program. To register, visit zenithconference.com.
