The Duluth Grill announced a temporary closure of the restaurant Tuesday evening due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. According to a post on Facebook by the restaurant, the team member is a back-of-house employee who had "little, to no contact with guests."
The employee's last shift was July 26 and the restaurant shut down promptly after receiving news of their positive results.
While closed, the grill plans to bring in a professional cleaner to sterilize and deep-clean the restaurant and to review protocols to ensure safe service when it's possible to reopen.
The restaurant thanked guests for their "patience and trust as we navigate this unprecedented time."
