A new brewery and taproom that also will feature a wood-fired pizzeria announced Monday it will be coming to Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood by mid-summer.

Ursa Minor Brewing is moving into the the property at 2415 W. Superior Street, brothers Ben and Mark Hugus said in a news release.

“We have been working on this for a long time and are finally entering the construction phase of the project,” the news release said.

Ursa Minor will offer rotating styles of beer and “artisan Napolitano-style pizzas,” the news release said.

The name was derived from the constellation containing the North Star.

“Craft beer is our guiding light and has brought us into the amazing craft beer community,” the brothers said.

Ursa Minor said it will update its timeline as it gets further along in construction.

“Our handcrafted beers and pizzas are designed to bring people together and our taproom is designed to be a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy friends, familiar faces and meaningful connections,” the brothers said.
