Cooperative Light & Power said Tuesday that its customers north of Two Harbors along Highway 2 will experience a power outage this afternoon as power lines are moved to new poles.
Co-op members north of the Press Camp Road along Highway 2 -- including the Kane, Marble, Thomas and Highland Lakes areas -- will lose electricity starting about 12:30 p.m. for about two to four hours. The new poles and equipment have been installed to accommodate the Lake County Fiber Broadband project.
