The Falls Memorial Hospital governing board recently changed the hospital's name to Rainy Lake Medical Center. The change is a result of the Jan. 1 integration of the hospital and the Duluth Clinic-International Falls.
"The Rainy Lake Medical Center name better reflects the unity of the hospital and clinic," said Bob Anderson, chairman of the hospital governing board. "In choosing the name, board members took into consideration suggestions from community members, caregivers and physicians."
The board will unveil a new logo in the coming months.
