Several traffic changes along the Interstate 35 Mega Project zone begin Saturday.
--The southbound I-35 on-ramp and off-ramp at 40th Avenue West will open Saturday, as will the southbound I-35 ramp to eastbound Highway 2, which is the Bong Bridge.
--On Monday, the northbound I-35 off-ramp at 40th Avenue West and the southbound I-35 on-ramp at 27th Avenue West will close.
--From 11 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday, southbound I-35 traffic will be diverted off the freeway at 27th Avenue West, then south on Michigan Street, south on Grand Avenue, east on 46th Avenue West and back to southbound I-35. Crews will be placing beams for a new bridge on I-35 near the ore docks. Northbound traffic will not be affected.
--Tuesday, the southbound I-35 off-ramp at 27th Avenue West will close.
