The entrance ramp from Central Avenue to northbound Interstate 35 in West Duluth will close Monday for approximately three weeks.
The closure will allow workers to rebuild the ramp and the highway pavement at the top of the ramp.
The closure also means that the only way to get onto northbound I-35 in western Duluth will be to use the ramp at 40th Avenue West. Closed ramps will reopen as pavement work is completed.
In other parts of the I-35 megaproject, workers have completed pouring the decks on new bridges near the ore docks and near the paper mill in West Duluth. Concrete railings will be installed over the next two weeks, which will complete the bridges.
