The Grand Portage Lodge and Casino is planning for a phased reopening with a tentative reopening date of June 22.
The Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, which owns and operates the lodge and casino, will continue to monitor the situation, meaning the reopening date could change, a news release from the casino read.
The U.S. and Canadian border is scheduled to remain closed to nonessential travel until June 21.
Guests can expect new safety procedures and protocols upon reopening. Guests will also be able to cancel or re-book a reservation with charge as late as noon the day of check-in, according to the news release.
