Frozen yogurt shop opens in Duluth's Canal Park

Jacq Frost, a new frozen yogurt shop, opened in Canal Park a few weeks ago. With a thriving community of frozen treat shops in the immediate area - including Dairy Queen, Cold Stone Creamery and Grandma’s Boxcar - Jacq Frost adds a new option for those craving a chilly dessert.
The shop currently has 10 flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from, including Salted Caramel, Toasted Marshmallow, New York Cheesecake and To Die for Chocolate, as well as two options for vegans.
“It tastes milky, but good,” said Mason Vickars, 11, of Minneapolis.
With a wide variety of toppings, Jacq Frost allows customers to be creative with their dessert.
“I have the Very Vanilla with gummy worms, gummy bears and pretzels,” said Maddy Vickars, 9, also of Minneapolis. “Frozen yogurt has that distinct taste that’s really good.”
The shop is at 337 Canal Park Drive, only two doors down from Cold Stone Creamery. With outdoor seating, Facebook reviewers called it “a great place to people watch.”
Jacq Frost is open Mondays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Tuesday through Thursdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
