Fairview Mesaba Clinics have expanded the availability for in-person patient visits at hospitals and clinics at its three locations in Hibbing, Nashwauk and Mountain Iron, according to a news release Monday. This includes extended hours Wednesday evenings in Mountain Iron and Hibbing to accommodate the need for well-child and sports physical appointments.

Care teams will be reaching out to patients to reschedule appointments that were previously postponed. Virtual visits are still highly encouraged and can be provided via video or phone.

In-person appointments have also increased for departments such as rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, audiology and others. Other services will be restored when it is safe to do so.

Visitor restrictions are still in effect for the facilities. Limited visitors are allowed on campuses. Visitors will be screened each time they visit and must pass a screening and wear a mask before entering a facility. No visitors under age 18 are permitted. One person will be permitted per adult patient.
