DTA suspends services July 4 except Port Town Trolleys

The Duluth Transit Authority will suspend all regular route and STRIDE services in the Twin Ports on Saturday, with the exception of the Port Town Trolleys.

The Duluth Transit Authority will suspend all regular route and STRIDE services in the Twin Ports on Saturday, with the exception of the Port Town Trolleys.

The DTA's usual rout and STRIDE services will resume Sunday.

Port Town Trolleys will be used to provide service from noon to 8 p.m. to Fourth Fest at Bayfront Festival Park. The trolleys will circulating every 15 minutes between downtown Duluth, Canal Park and Bayfront.

The fare is 50 cents, and unlimited-ride trolley day passes will be available on the trolleys for $3. DTA passes and stored value fare cards also will be honored. Children younger than age 4 ride free.
