DTA announces route, service changes

The Duluth Transit Authority has announced many upcoming routing and service changes.

  • Service to the University of Minnesota Duluth and the College of St. Scholastica will return Tuesday. The No. 18 route will provide service along Arrowhead Road and Rice Lake Road between Pecan Avenue and Central Entrance and the schools. Weekday service will run from 7:23 a.m. to 11:36 p.m. Students can ride using their school photo IDs to be part of the U-Pass program.
  • All routes and Stride services will be suspended on Monday for Labor Day. Regular services will resume on Tuesday.
  • Service to Park Point will not extend to the Park Point Recreational Area after Saturday. Beginning Tuesday, the service will finish at 43rd Street and Minnesota Avenue.
  • The Port Town Trolley will stop summer operations on Sunday.
