Duluth street sweeping crews will be out this week, and the Greater Downtown Council is encouraging business and property owners to get in on the spring cleaning themselves.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday the council is encouraging folks to sweep sidewalk debris into the streets, spruce up storefronts and collect litter from the alleys.
“It’s Earth Week, and what better way to celebrate than by cleaning up our beloved downtown!” Greater Downtown Council president Kristi Stokes wrote in an email.
