A power outage affected about 2,000 customers in Duluth's Lincoln Park and lower Piedmont neighborhoods on Sunday morning.
Minnesota Power spokeswoman Amy Rutledge said the outage started at about 5 a.m. when a vehicle struck a power pole near 21st Avenue West, between 2nd and 3rd Streets.
Minnesota Power was able to reroute electricity and restore power to most of its affected customers by mid-morning. About 200 remained without power as of 11:30 a.m.; Rutledge said a crew is on the scene and expects to have service completely restored by about noon.
