A man suffered a painful injury in an unusual bus accident Saturday in Duluth.
It happened about 3 p.m. on Grand Avenue near 63rd Avenue West.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Brad Wick said a 37-year-old Duluth man had just gotten off a DTA bus, but slipped and fell as it pulled away. The bus ran over his left arm, tearing off skin from his forearm to his bicep. Police say the victim was intoxicated.
The bus driver did not realize what had happened and continued to drive.
Wick said no charges will be filed.
