DULUTH, MN — Swim Creative, a branding, marketing and interactive firm in Duluth, Minnesota, took home a Silver award at the 16th Annual w3 Awards, sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).
Swim received the Silver Award in the General Websites-Real Estate category for the Makley Place website. Vision Communities out of Columbus, Ohio tasked Swim and Swim’s partner Mylin LTD with creating a new site featuring a fresh look that could highlight apartment floor plans as well as showcase interactive floor plans for condos. Swim delivered and packaged it all up in a simple, visually stunning website that’s incredibly easy to navigate.
“Vision Communities was venturing into a new mixed-use space that had for-sale condos, for-rent apartments and commercial spaces for lease,” said J. Scott Mylin, owner of Mylin LTD. “Creating a digital experience that could engage those three audiences, with their different expectations, was no small feat. Which, of course, is why we worked with Swim Creative,”
This year’s w3 Awards received over 3,000 entries from all over the world and were judged by the top-tier professionals that make up the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. The competition began as a way to recognize advertising and marketing firms – big and small – for their outstanding websites, podcasts, videos and other digital work. As w3 emphasizes, small ad agencies are just as likely to win as Fortune 500 companies.
“I’m always so proud of the work that our team does and this website is no exception,” said Patrice Bradley, Swim Creative’s CEO and Creative Director.“We are very well known for delivering exceptional websites of every service and size, that are both beautiful and functional.”
