Swim Creative, a branding, interactive and advertising firm, is proud to announce their most recent addition of Digital Strategist Ryan Miller.
Ryan joins with a double Bachelor’s degree in marketing and management as well as an MBA from the College of St. Scholastica. His combination of education and experience makes him a well-versed marketer who understands the unique challenges of business.
While an undergrad, Ryan gravitated toward working at a creative agency. “The ad agency world - I identified with it,” Ryan says. He even job-shadowed at Swim Creative and felt like agency life was a fit. For a while, he thought he might move to the Twin Cities to work for an agency down there. But Ryan fell in love both with Duluth and a girl named Alyssa, and made his home here.
Before joining the team, Ryan worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist on the marketing team at St. Luke’s, one of Swim’s clients. While working at St. Luke’s for five years, Ryan got to know the Swim team.
In 2020, Ryan left St. Luke’s and took an opportunity at Kolar as Business Development Manager. Though the people and the business were great, it didn’t match Ryan’s professional goals. So when he saw the recent opening at Swim Creative, Ryan knew it was the right move.
“We always enjoyed our working relationship with Ryan when he was our client,” says CEO and Creative Director, Patrice Bradley, “so when he applied to Swim, we knew he was a good fit because we already knew him and the quality of his work.”
Ryan is excited to use his skills as both a digital marketer and project manager to create impactful digital campaigns that help clients achieve their goals at Swim Creative.
