Essentia Health welcomes Dr. Amina Adil

Cardiologist Amina Adil is excited to welcome new patients at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Heart and Vascular Center.

Dr. Adil was drawn to the Northland by the “beauty of the area and multitude of outdoor-activity opportunities — it’s a great city to raise a family in.”

She earned her medical degree from Aga Khan University in Pakistan. Dr. Adil completed a residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, as well as a fellowship in adult cardiovascular disease at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee and another year-long fellowship in advanced cardiovascular imaging at Loyola University in Chicago. She is certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

“Having spent an additional dedicated year learning cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and cardiac computerized tomography, during my advanced cardiovascular imaging fellowship, I am very interested in structural cardiac diseases,” Dr. Adil said. “These include congenital cardiac disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, cardiac amyloidosis, dilated cardiomyopathy and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy.”

“I will listen to your concerns and do my best to find an answer and relieve them.”

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Adil, call Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Heart and Vascular Center at (218) 786-4000. To see her full profile, visit EssentiaHealth.org and click on “Doctors & Providers.”
