The monthly luncheon meeting of the West Duluth Business Club on Wednesday will feature a program on efforts underway to revitalize the community.

The hourlong event is open to the public, including business and property owners.

Sandra Wood, CEO of BellWood, will lead the program, focusing on the West Duluth Revivification Plan. She'll talk about collaborations going on between the business club and the Duluth Economic and Development Authority, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, the Entrepreneur Fund and Denfeld High School. She'll also go over new opportunities for storefront renovations and business plans.

BellWood was formed to bring together different groups and community efforts to come up with create approaches to bring new life the community.

Among the officials attending will be DEDA Executive Director Chris Eng, Michael Lattery of the Entrepreneur Fund, Pam Kramer of LISC and Susanne Wegener with the city of Duluth.
