MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They say I looked like a Brody when I was born. They wanted me to have a very special middle name so they chose Michael after my late grandfather and no one in our large family has a similar name. I am also the very first grandson and great-grandson on the Boisjoli side so a unique name made it that much more special. Irish runs in our family and the name Brody is of Irish and Gaelic origin, meaning "brother" in Irish.

PARENTS' WISH OR ADVICE: We want Brody to know how much we love him, how proud we are of him and for him to know how special he is to so many people. We wish Brody's life is filled with happiness, laughs and so much love.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Brody was originally due Feb. 12 but decided to come six weeks early and weighing only 4 pounds, 11 ounces. He spent two weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit at Children's Hospital in St. Paul. We were so blessed with this itty bitty bundle of joy. He made the welcome so much more special and kept us on our toes. Today at 23 pounds, you'd never know he was premature.
