Superior police are looking for two men who stole an ice cream cake and money from a donations jar at a local Dairy Queen. In a posting on its Facebook page, the Superior Police Department said the men entered the DQ Grill & Chill Restaurant, 3100 Tower Ave. The incident occurred about 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, Superior Deputy Police Chief Nicholas Alexander said. One man took an ice cream cake from the freezer and walked out the door.

A 911 services outage in Douglas County was resolved late Wednesday night, after the problem persisted for more than five hours. Officials announced services were restored at 10 p.m. but did not specify what had caused the outage. Two Hibbing men were arrested following a report of an armed robbery early Sunday morning in Hibbing.
