Elliott held off Martin Truex Jr. to take the runner-up spot, but it wasn't enough to advance to the Championship Four of the playoffs next Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Picture this: the new Duluth Central Library on top of a high hill. There’s unlimited parking in contrast to the current location. Buses go by regularly. It’s in a central location. There are plenty of lockers because library patrons plan on spending whole days reading, playing basketball in a gym, running on a new track, playing baseball and tennis, and attending special events in the theater there, all in consolidation within the library and its Friends of the Library group. A commons area is set up for reading. There’s an office for staff. There’s a skateboard park.
