Minnesota Duluth's showdown with Wisconsin in the 2017 WCHA Final Face-Off championship on March 6 in Minneapolis was one of eight women's WCHA games televised by Fox Sports North last season. The league is hoping to raise $20,000 toward the broadcast of the 2018 championship on FSN and to help offset school-incurred costs for regular season broadcasts.
