Crane operator Bruce Kraemer, dressed as Santa Claus, moves his crane into place to grab hold of the 45-foot-tall spruce tree at the home of Laurie and Rod Carlson in Duluth's Lakeside neighborhood on Wednesday. Kraemer used the crane to place the tree, destined to become the 2017 Minnesota Power Community Christmas Tree, on a flatbed. It was then trucked to Lake Superior Plaza in downtown Duluth.
