Boxing: Duluth's Morris to vie for state title

Duluth boxer Markus "Hooch" Morris will fight Rondale Hubbert for the vacant Minnesota super lightweight state title Aug. 17, it was announced Thursday.

The pair will vie for the 140-pound title at Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minn.

Morris, who trains at Twin Ports Boxing, has an 11-3 record with seven knockouts; Hubbert of Minneapolis is 11-6-1 with seven KOs.
