SIJHL names new commissioner

The Superior International Junior Hockey League on Tuesday announced Bryan Graham as its new commissioner.

The Thunder Bay native previously worked as the vice president and director of officiating of the East Coast Hockey League, as well as assistant general manager of the Thunder Bay Border Cats of the Northwoods Baseball League. A longtime hockey official, Graham also has experience as a radio broadcaster. He replaces Ron Whitehead, who served as SIJHL president and commissioner for most of the league’s 14-year history.

The league, which features the Minnesota Iron Rangers, debuted in 2001.

Bogojevic, a student at Colorado State-Pueblo, was competing with the United States World Greco-Roman team, which won the team title with 62 points.
