Minnesota Duluth hasn’t joined NCAA Division I in men’s basketball, but the Bulldogs’ 2014-15 exhibition schedule sure looks that way.

UMD, which released its schedule Tuesday, opens with a pair of road exhibitions against Notre Dame on Oct. 29 and National Invitation Tournament champion Minnesota on Nov. 6 before tipping off the regular season Nov. 14 against Lincoln (Mo.) University in the Southwest Baptist Tournament.

The Bulldogs’ home opener is vs. Division III Wisconsin-Superior on Nov. 18 and the team’s Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opener is Nov. 29 at St. Cloud State.

UMD expects to field four seniors, four junior transfers and an experienced sophomore class for the 2014-15 season. Included among the returnees is 2013-14 NSIC preseason player of the year Brett Ervin, who sat out the entire year with a knee injury.
