Greg Ludwig hit a pair of home runs and had five RBIs to lead Ashland University to a 14-4 victory over Minnesota Duluth in eight innings on Tuesday at Lake Myrtle Park in Auburndale, Fla.
Michael Rogers and Micah Allen also homered and Chris Slavik struck out 10 and allowed just one run in six innings to lead the Eagles (4-2).
Ben Danielson had a three-run home run to lead UMD (3-2).
• The Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season in a late game Monday night in Auburndale, falling 6-4 to West Virginia Wesleyan, which took advantage of five UMD errors.
Cory Krolikowski, who finished with three hits, two runs and two walks, hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning to open the scoring for the Bulldogs, but their bullpen and defense faltered down the stretch.
