Tickets go on sale Dec. 7 for NCAA men’s hockey West Regional
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Tickets will go on sale Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. for the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey West Regional at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls.
The two-day tourney will be Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24.
Tickets for the general public go on sale at the center’s box office in Sioux Falls and at www.ncaa.com/frozenfour.
Ticket prices range from $49 to $99, plus fees. Game times are set by the NCAA in conjunction with ESPN and will be announced the week of the tournament. Tickets will be sold as a three-game package that includes the two semifinal games on Friday and the regional championship game on Saturday with the tournament champion continuing on to the 2018 Frozen Four in St. Paul.
The University of North Dakota is the host for the tourney, which previously had the West Regional at Scheels Arena in Fargo in both 2015 and 2017 to a sold-out venue.
The 2018 regional will mark UND Athletics’ first partnership with the Sanford Center, which seats more than 10,600 fans for hockey. The Scheels Center has a seating capacity of about 6,000 fans.
Sioux Falls Sports Authority and Sioux Falls Stampede are also partnering with UND and the events center in hosting the tournament.
