Reader's view: Stop the exploitation of women in society

The real war on women is society accepting sexualizing girls and women.

Jesus said, “From the beginning of creation God made them male and female ... for this shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife.” Jesus treated both sexes equally as they were created to be and spoke against sexual immorality, saying, “Blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

Women of all cultures have been, and still are, degraded being men’s property, slaves, assumed intellectually inferior, dehumanized under burkas, and now stripped of clothes and dignity. I never thought women would unashamedly embrace this, causing most of us discomfort and causing sensitive young girls to feel forced to show their bodies, increasingly causing depression.

Publicly exposing sexuality — via cleavage, bikinis and butts, plus the offensive naked statue in front of Miller-Dwan — for children’s eyes takes away children’s innocence. This is considered pedophilia and is against the law. Silence!

Men initially exploited women to be naked, busty, skinny and dumb, but women embracing this is causing their own ultimate destruction with increased sex trafficking and abuse. Doesn’t it bother husbands whose wives expose their bodies to other men?

Why do schools undress students in skimpy sports uniforms in volleyball, track, cheerleading and dance recitals, with little girls in sexy tutus, pajama days, coed swimming, etc.? It’s sexual abuse, mainly victimizing females and feeding the war on women — plus children.

Complain to businesses that display and sell sexy clothes and magazines. Stop the Playboy atmosphere. At public swim places, keep families away.

Why can’t news anchors of both genders dress modestly and intelligently? Atheists used to respectfully dress more modestly in churches than supposed Christians do now.

That’s the real war on women. Silence!
