Reader's View: Inaction means human hunting still open
Serving in the Army National Guard, I was trained to use an M16 service rifle. This was the equivalent of a civilian AR-15. I understand this weapon was designed to stop enemy combatants in war.
The AR-15 operator in civilian mass shootings faces no enemy. So how is this scenario different than any sanctioned hunting season? Since our elected officials followed a predictable script of inaction and "move on," a hunting season on citizens is still open.
