Eh? Welcome, with open arms and antennae
It’s not hard to guess why pollinators like bees and butterflies might be a vital part of our ecosystem. But since these little gals and guys are disappearing, it might be time to roll out the welcome mat, and stop taking them for granted.
In that vein, there will be a class at the Benedictine Health Center Campus, 935 Kenwood Ave., on how to make your lawn or garden amenable to the wee pollinators.
The class will be taught by master gardeners at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Those interested should call (218) 723-6405.
