River Quest volunteer Paul Scinocca points out something of interest to a group of students on the Vista Star Monday as the boat neared the Blatnik Bridge.

Nearly 1,500 students from area schools will attend the annual River Quest event this week, learning about the St. Louis River ecosystem and interrelated commercial, industrial and recreational activities at 12 stations — six on the Vista Star and six at the DECC. This the 24th year for the annual event.
