Best Bets: Willie Nelson plays the Big Top
Iconic country music star Willie Nelson brings his tour bus back this direction for a show at Big Top Chautauqua. Nelson is six decades, 200 albums deep into his career. This is his seventh show at Big Top.
Nelson played Bayfront in 2010, a lotsa-hits, little banter show that drew 5,000 people to the park — some of them wearing the musician’s signature red bandana.
Nelson recently released “Band of Brothers,” an album reviewer Ann Powers of NPR called “a self-portrait of a long, up-and-down life — especially in the life of an artist.”
