Best Bets: Jeffrey Madison performs with Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra

Jeffrey Madison is fresh from the Duluth Playhouse’s production of “Les Miserables,” where he gave a News Tribune reviewer chills during Javert’s “Stars” solo. Before that, Madison played a tech-addicted chaos maker in Lyric Opera of the North’s production of the comic opera “Don Pasquale.”

Madison joins the Lake Superior Chamber Orchestra for its final concert of the season.

He will perform “Four Songs of Don Quixote” by Jacques Ibert and Aaron Copland’s “Old American Songs.”

The finale also includes “Lady Radnor’s Suite” by C.H. Parry, Jacques Ibert’s “Divertissement” and “Concerto for Chamber Orchestra” by George Antheil.
