Best Bets: Bluesman Mike Munson performs at breweries

A Winona musician is on the ultimate brewery tour.

Mike Munson, a bluesman, has set a wicked pace to play at 10 breweries in five days — a quest that ends Saturday in Minneapolis.

Munson plays two shows Friday in Duluth. He will be at Bent Paddle from 6-8 p.m. and Carmody Irish Pub from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Munson’s tour started Tuesday on a small farm in southeast Minnesota (he also spun into LaCrosse, Wis). According to a news release, Munson credits breweries and taprooms for “providing space for musicians of all genres to share their sound.”
