LEO is a 4½-year-old male red Chihuahua/dachshund mix available for adoption through Animal Allies in Duluth. He is a shy boy who would benefit from a home with lots of patience. Once this sweet little guy warms up to you, he will make the perfect companion!

An adoption fee is required for all adoptions. Animal Allies uses the “Meet your Match” adoption program designed by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The program evaluates an animal’s behavior and interests and matches them to an adopter’s preferences so you take home a pet you really click with. Call (218) 722-2110 or visit for more information.

BEAU is a 10-year-old male golden retriever mix available for adoption through Retrieve a Golden of Minnesota Inc. He’s housebroken and weighs about

65 pounds. His foster family describes him as a quiet, gentle, compassionate dog, whose main purpose in life is to give and receive love. Beau enjoys his meals, short daily walks and naps.

To see Beau’s complete story, visit and click on Beau No. 13-174 or call (952) 946-8070.
