Classical Minnesota Public Radio is offering up a series that pits choral music with city-park settings – in this case with a view of the largest freshwater lake in the world.

Harmony in the Park is a concert that features Twin Port Choral Project, Lake Superior Youth Chorus and Echoes of Peace Choir. It will be hosted by Steve Staruch of Classical MPR at Leif Erikson Park, overlooking Lake Superior.

Twin Ports Choral Project is an a capella chamber ensemble. It is directed by Bret Amundson, who is also behind the Lake Superior Youth Chorus. Echoes of Peace Choir was formed by Sara Thomsen in response to 9/11.
