PHOTO OF THE DAY

Bricks be gone

Chris Johnson, with the City of Duluth, uses a front-end loader to scrap and pile bricks from a section of Superior Street between Second and Third Avenues West Monday afternoon. The work is a temporary fix to remove damaged bricks and repave the street with asphalt in time for Grandma's Marathon.  (Bob King / rking@duluthnews.com)
