BLINK for March 19, 2017

I've had a love affair with light on powerlines for a long time. When the angle's just right, they remind me of lacy spider webs. Several days ago, while stopping to pick up groceries, the sun hit the wires just right along St. Marie Street between Woodland Avenue and the UMD campus. I had my camera and the right lens, so I quickly parked the car and ran down to the sidewalk to grab a shot of the scene before the light faded. Bob King / rking@duluthnews.com
