The Federal Hunter, a Hong Kong-flagged ship, was the first saltie of the year to dock in the Twin Ports, and was welcomed by a number of people in a short ceremony. It loaded about 15,000 metric tons of durum and spring wheat at the CHS elevator in Superior and departed Monday evening. Marinetraffic.com reported the Federal Hunter was in port in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on Tuesday evening. While the ship is flagged in Hong Kong, the majority of the 22 crew members are from India.
