A tentative meeting between SMDC nurses and hospital administrators has been scheduled for Wednesday, according to the Minnesota Nurses Association, the union representing the 958 registered nurses at SMDC and 420 at St. Luke’s.
The Minnesota Nurses Association said it will file the 10-day strike notice today. The union did not say when the open-ended strike might begin, but it can start anytime after the 10 days’ notice has passed.
