South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford is the 29th high-profile public official caught having an affair in the past 20 years, according to the June 26 USA Today. In my opinion, these men should not be blamed for their affairs — either by their wives or by the American public.
A West Duluth same-sex couple will join others in seeking a marriage license at the Hennepin County Courthouse today in what may be the first step in a bid to reverse Minnesota’s laws against same-sex marriage.
This is going to be a good Valentine’s Day at our place. The reason is that a few days ago, we weren’t so sure Valentine’s Day would be so routine. My valentine suffered a “small to medium” stroke — even now the words seem crazy — last weekend. Her prognosis is excellent.
