The Minnesota Farm Bureau political action committee endorsed Republican Tom Emmer for governor and a similar state Farmers Union organization picked Democrat Mark Dayton.

The Superior Police Department’s union issued a news release Tuesday charging longtime Douglas County District Attorney Dan Blank, who is running for judge, with acting in a “subversive and unethical manner.”
Grandma’s Restaurant Co. Inc. now can boast that its chicken wild rice soup is “the official soup of the Minnesota Wild.” Brian Daugherty, the company’s president, estimates the endorsement deal took about $20,000 to put together.
