Cameron and Mignon Fryer have done it again. After spending several years restoring and remodeling a historic Craftsman-style house in Duluth’s Congdon Park neighborhood, they started all over again with another house just three blocks away.
The Duluth and UMD police departments announced Wednesday that they responded to approximately 53 calls for service involving college students from Thursday to Monday. A total of 84 citations were issued.
The St. Louis County Board set the process in motion Tuesday for voters to pick a successor to Steve O’Neil, who died July 16 after battling cancer. They disagreed on whether the board should appoint a temporary replacement in the meantime.
The County Board can set the special election to replace the late Steve O'Neil for some time between December and May, according to state statutes, depending on how many people file for the office and whether county officials want to avoid holding an election near the holidays.
