A Mahtomedi, Minn., man told his Babbitt-area girlfriend that he was afraid to be left alone with her son shortly before he was found strangled to death. Authorities later found the woman’s son curled up in a fetal position in the tub of the home, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday.
Authorities say a Babbitt man stabbed 3-year-old Natalee Lynn Walker twice before carrying her out of their home shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday. He was later shot by police as he pointed a knife at the child in a threatening manner.
