ST. CHARLES, Minn. — Residents began trickling back into this southeastern Minnesota town Saturday morning after city officials lifted an evacuation order prompted by a large fire at a local meat-processing plant.
Cody Lee Walker-Nelson, 17, has pleaded guilty to first-degree arson for a January fire at 1720 E. 5th St. in Duluth, the Duluth Police Department announced today. He remains a suspect in several other arson fires.
FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A 56-year-old man has died in a house fire in Fond du Lac, the second fatal fire in the area in one day. The man’s name hadn’t been released Thursday, but family members say Leland Haskins was believed to be inside.
