Superior firefighters contain oil spill
The Superior Police Department was called to the 4900 block of St. Croix Drive about 1 p.m. Friday, when a fuel tank for a home in the Lakeside Terrace Mobile Home Park ruptured, spilling 60 to 70 gallons of heating oil into an adjacent wetland.

Superior task force says Fire Department ambulance service not viable
A Superior Fire Department-run ambulance service is not a viable option for taxpayers. That was the conclusion drawn by five of seven members of the Ambulance Task Force after a three-month review of the fire department’s proposal and service already available.
